Thermite is a voxel-based 3D game engine primarily designed as a show case for PolyVox technology. It integrates PolyVox technology with various other components in order to produce highly dynamic game environments which can be easily modified in real time. It is released as open source software under the terms of the ZLib License. Note that ModDB lists it as BSD license, but that is only because it doesn't have ZLib as an option.

As Thermite3D (and the underlying PolyVox library) increase in useability we are looking for new ways to promote it and get it into the hands of game developers. We have now set up this ModDB page in the hope that it will provide another outlet for us to keep interested parties supplied with news, screenshot, and downloads of what we are working on.
We're currently working on making the terrain smoother and more powerful, and will provide more news on that in the future.
