Just a quick note: Blue Shift maps cannot load. When i try to load one, the game just crashes and gives no error. (Yes, i mounted the mod)
HazyMan yeah that's a problem with the engine - haven't figured out a way around it yet unfortunately.
Well that's alright, many other maps that i've downloaded from Unmountable mods do work atleast. Sorry for my bombardism of comments btw, have a good one

It needs the Steam version to do the content mounting.
Can you do the same version but not steam?
The mounting stuff is pretty entrenched so I'm not going to put it behind a feature flag and ship a different version.

WHATTHEHELL_OP I don't think it works with Xash and in the Create Server dialogue open the second tab and tick the Opposing Force box.

No, I'm not going to support non-Steam Half-Life - it's required for the content mounting.

I tried mounting opposing force content by typing "mount_gearbox 1", the game still has only half life 1 weapons. same goes with all the other mods. any help?
Opposing Force weapons (some of them anyway) are coming soon.
oh ok so that's why i cannot use them? same goes for the rest of the other games weapons like DOD,tfc, gunman chronicle etc?
Yeah I've only done work on some of the Opposing Force weapons - none for other games.

Any error message? Were you mounting any other games? What platform are you on?

lisokoweris2000 unzip the .zip, put the sandpit/ directory in Steam/steamapps/common/Half-Life/ and restart Steam. It should show up in your My Games list then.
