Both Mods are a great resource for developing thirdperson or 2.5d shooters. they contain many resources and code examples needed to create content beyond what is seen in the mods. With Rivensin, all the basics are there for creating a thirdperson shooter similar to Resident Evil 4 or 5. Hard Corps has everything needed for a 2d shooter including Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, Mega Man, Metal Slug, and Contra. The basic input systems are also in place for creating a 2d fighter with a combo system similar to Mortal Kombat.
