Overworked Vegetation - polished and smoothered all plant, grass and many tree textures - enhances AntiAliasing. Relive the environment. Replaces many not so good looking trees. Fits in with my user.ltx Tweak to make a good overall look and also a enhanced AntiAliasing effect. Now that the appletreequestion is over - which user.ltx Tweak do you like more? The New Concept or the Classic version?
Installation:
Just copy the appdata folder to your Stalker Anomaly Directory and replace the user.ltx file.
Same procedure with the other gamedata files. Backup your personal files.

Default renderer set to DirectX10 (r3) and activated 2x msaa anti aliasing.
you can still turn on DirectX11 and play without msaa but with fxaa AntiAliasing and got a little performance boost with a little loss in the AntiAliasing Quality

Reset of the Elka Trees - Original Textures - The Filters got a bit out of hand there - looks sharper again now - better choice in this case
(Still got some issues with the sosna tree - sometimes sparkle white on distance
- same issue with another tree from the group but i dont know the texture yet)

4/27/2019 Info Update:
I recommend to play with DirectX11 Renderer which should be the default Renderer by the user.ltx file - or at least DirectX10 if you may save some frames or whatever.
DirectX8 looks allright - With DirectX9 the new Tree Textures look a bit strange but its playable.
just take note of that.

Added New main user.ltx configuration file. - Relatively balanced graphics - not to dark and not to bright. A bit like a grown up version from the Classic and New Concept version.
Overworked User Settings Structure.
Removed the optional Stuff.
Fixed wrong install path for the optional trees.

Reset of some optionals effector.ltx and actor.ltx settings that affected walking/bobbing/cam/display factor.
Fastened stamina rest speed a bit again. Also you can run a litte bit longer.
Some small Tweaks here and there.

Severall improvements in the optional files - actor.ltx - also added define.ltx. Among other the changes involve shooting action - decent increase of the bullet power and changed display values(Shooting dispersion, actor height - values inspired with a litte bit of tweaking here and there from the Shadow of Chernobyl Settings)

Fixed optionals - somehow the actor.ltx file dont worked as it should be.
Now the sprints should cost more energy - normal walks also a bit - stamina regenerates a little bit faster. (I mean the average size of the equip is around 50~60 up to 70kg so i try to set this a bit more realistic.)

for example the swamp water plants are darkened from the bottom - creates natural shadow and wet effect - shadowed also some other tree/bush branches.

Grass density changes - a step lower - seems better especially while there are sometimes huge grass masses. Gives also performance boost.
This is a recommendation.
Appletree choice option.
Added optional user.ltx files - cam inert(headbobbing) changes - raised the value to 0.5.

I can play it almost without any issues with this spec. So you can even have a worse pc and play it.. you can also change some settings and play it with a potato.

I second that, i love the Misery/Dead Air look better. Dark and Dead, almost black and white in some weathers. Id be playing Dead Air if it had the amout f depth/Items/weapons and gun-play of Anomaly. I cant stand Dead Airs AIMing system.

Btw. i just found out that there is a additional database file called xtra_green in the directory in a file with unreadable letters - just put it in the maindatabase folder and you got summer vegetation. I guess i eventually will make a user.ltx file.
Are the gameplay modifications optional? I like my current settings, but I really like the looks of the graphics on this.
Yes, you can choose what you want. Tree, Plant/Grass, some colour settings and the user.ltx configuration settings.
And of course you can change some graphic settings in the menu if you like. But the Values of my user.ltx file should be seen as a recommendation.

So user.ltx doesn't change any gameplay elements (stamina, shooting etc.)? Im using the New concept User.ltx which looks awesome graphically, but im worried if it has the gameplay modifications you listed in your description as they might interfere with some of the gameplay mods I already have.
Hey, dont worry the things you named are not changed by the user.ltx.
-These files are normaly in the /gamedata/configs file or unvisible in the database folders.
There are some things in the user.ltx that may go through as gameplay elements - things like camera settings - but none of the things you named or general mod stuff.
Can I ask you to add to changelog filenames that were updated? :)

I dont think so... they placed new trees and overworked the complete vegetation - i`ll try it sometime...
Just for anyone interested: It works fine, because this replaces only the levels files and textures. But you will of course then miss the new changes from update 3. However, just a matter of taste :)
I'm wondering about something else. Sometimes the trees are moving in the wind, and some other time they are as static as a rock. THis is not related to this mod, but I'd like to know what's causing this.

i like it but its another mod that makes the grass noisy
try to raise the mipbias value in console, open the console (check the keybind on settings) then write in console: r__tf_mipbias .5
if .5 is not enought to lower the blur try 1 ... but not more or make your game like potato textures; viceversa, if you write values minus than 0 like -0.5 the distant textures is more sharpened and also blurried.
I use values from 0.1 to 1 sometimes.
is this usable with GAMMA? sounds like a weird thing to say but I'm running on a potato (6gb ram and integrated graphics)
