Man this moddb community really starts to smell so bad.

Downvote me as well. Thanks.

Surely not, but GAMMA is the best modpack out there.

Not the first time a mod gets downvoted simply because of the mention of this modpack. I guess making a separate moddb page for gamma should fix it… no blending of gamma stuff and anomaly, which is dumb because gamma is built on top of anomaly, but apparently that’s what this moddb community is asking.

Grokitach It's not even about the modpack or some made up community, it's about people like "crh115" who are apparently incapable of understanding what's the mod about, so instead of asking properly or figuring it out himself, which he easily can anyway by just going to the Github link, he just goes and rates it 1.

Why do you have to attempt to resolve somebody else's problems on yours?

This is the price of popularity! Gamma is the #1 modpack for Anomaly so there are haters, it's a good thing because you now that now you are the one to beat.

Literally read the description. It's a configurable auto-looter. I really don't know what this comment section is on about, it's an immensly based mod that doesn't need much explaining.

Nah, the actual problem is that mod does the thing before the "add whatever to the inventory" action that performs once you "open" dead man's pockets, which is why a usual unimmersive casual Vasyan either get's a lot less loot than he should or he has to crack open every body before using autoloot so the items would spawn.
Maybe i just installed something wrong, but in that case, i'm pretty sure the downvoters have the same problem. Anyway, i get the idea so i rather upvote something i'm too lazy to fix than downvote sh!t i did not understand.

Lulz - come on
Don't argue over which modpack is the best - it's subjective
I've added the mention of Gamma there just because I was building this thing on top of Gamma (I like it, but I get it that not everyone has to)
I've later made it almost dependency-free, but it still is meant to be used with other mentioned mods
Just don't want to deal with **** like "**** mod, doesn't work" when people mess something up

Also PLEASE look for updates on linked GitHub page (the one beside which I've mentioned you can find mod at - ModDB is shortening URLs qq ) if you encounter any problems

I don't feel like updating the file here every time I do some fixes
ModDB is already 3 versions behind

It's a great mod, I've been playing it on Warfare myself, where I don't care too much for all that "immersion" stuff, I just wanna have fun and this mod gives me more time to have fun instead of taking my time to loot about.

Was wondering, could this work with your mod?

Moddb.com

For example, if I autolooted someone, maybe the items would pop up to indicate what was looted.

Excuse me, I have a question, is there a way to reactivate the loot of weapons and armor in the addon? playing as Monolith I wanted to infiltrate the freedom base and I trusted the mod. but when I opened the inventory there was no armor to disguise myself, the only way to get it was by opening the bodies, there I found the weapons and armor, but I really like the idea of deleting the corpses, it helps a lot to lighten the game, besides that great job, this plugin helps a lot with performance

Reply Good karma Bad karma+2 votes
iTheon Author
iTheon - - 58 comments

Armor and weapon (secondary one) are created on the corpse only on opening the body - that's how it's scripted in Vanilla Anomaly
Unfortunately I cannot change it, as it could break the game and other mods

Also please if you are using the deletion feature, please update your mod. Read the description above why v0.1.12 is cruicial for users using some part deletion feature.

Reply Good karma+2 votes

Everyone who's using the deletion feature - mod has received an important bugfix for `Delete rest` feature. The information about it is in the mod description

I'm really sorry if you've lost some items because of it, but I simply can't test every little aspect of the mod myself (it's quite big) and I've got to rely on the users to find some edge cases

I barely even play the game now, as I'm focused on creating some other cool mod

Cheers

Hey
I've just realized that the latest GitHub version of WPO (EFP is using this one too) is missing important functions that let me check whether mags are being used
You should use this one instead
Moddb.com

I'll update the mod description too
It's the first time ever where I see GitHub being outdated and ModDB being up to date xD

You give hope to moddb :D.I didn't go back to the old version of the WPO mod yet, so I removed some features in the magazines check.
if mag_support then
mag_support.eject_mag(v)
else

Your mod works and there is no more error. I don't understand anything in scripts, but here I got lucky :D

Actually the Github version of WPO is not outdated, but in fact much newer. Whatever the reason is he removed those functions. Latest WPO is 2 weeks old.

EDIT: Looking at the neer mags_support.script, he removed those parts because he simply don't need them. So what about stripping the check to only "if mag_support ..." ? Or isn't that enough to work with both versions?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+2 votes

Yeah, my bad - Gamma is using slightly different version of WPO
I'll check out what's wrong with the newest WPO
Anyway - the mag support has been revisited some time ago and it does not depend on WPO anymore

EDIT
There was actually a small issue that caused CTDs with the newest WPO (it uses the `mag_support` script, but does not incorporate `using_mags` function). I've fixed it and it seems to work fine. Tested it on vanilla anomaly with WPO and looter - had no CTDs so far

Yeterday Moddb was very buggy aand I couldn't correct my comments. I haave a problem in Gamma. While everything is installed and configured properly, I cannot get Auto-Looter to work. Keybind works (but remote- and proximity-looting are disabled as suggested. And inside of any container or inventory pressing the auto-loot key doesn't do a thing).

Am I doing something wrong? I've checked everything I could think of - no script errors, no log, it just doesn't do anything and I can't find any reason for it.

EDIT: Don't know what happened, but startet working after I've removed and rebind that key.

I am having trouble getting the proximity looting working. I have it set at 5 and it doesn't pick up anything around me at all.

I am using Gamma and have turned off the mods that it will conflict with in the mod organizer, but past that I can't seem to get it to pickup anything. I got to work for a split second after playing with the settings for a few minutes but that was only for a moment then nothing.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

A bit late, but I rarely visit ModDB - proximity looting works fine with the latest version. If it stopped working for some reason, you might have encountered a silent error engine that can be caused by literally any script calling engine functions in wrong way that causes many scripts to stop functioning properly. The only fix for that is reloading the save.

Please ping me on Discord whenever you have questions in the future - you can find me on Gamma, EFP and Anomaly discords with the same nickname

That's rather weird. IDK what you did there after ALT F4. I do recon that ALT is a pretty problematic keybinding, but every other keybind that's available for the inventory view (LALT, LCTRL, LSHIFT) is already taken by other mods.

I got a message when in Panicked combat that autoloot was disabled. How to I reenable it. Right clicking on items don't have the prompts for autodisable and lalt does not pick up anyitems.

The message you're talking about is probably the remote looting message (it's disabled by default and if you attempt to use it in that state, you'll get a short text message). If you don't have the autolooter options in the context menu (RMB menu) on items, then it means the mod has been disabled.

If it stopped working for some reason, you might have encountered a silent error engine that can be caused by literally any script calling engine functions in wrong way that causes many scripts to stop functioning properly. The only fix for that is reloading the save.

Hey I'm wondering if you have any insight on how I can go about changing my keybind? I'm using the Gamma Modpack and it's default on ALT but I have my ALT setup for the dissasemble safety AND the modifier to move stacks. I've already moved my entire inventory over from a stash more times than I can count. I've checked all my keybinds and have found no conflicts as it's currently set to F10. Any other key without conflict I bind it to that isn't ALT does not work. I'd love to use your mod as it's a huge QOL improvement but the drawbacks of having it set to alt are substantial. Thanks for reading and your time in advance

Hello! I love the mod so far but I'm having lots of CTDs and I'm not really sure what's going on.
Just to clarify I'm not using the GAMMA modpack - Im just playing regular Anomaly with a couple of mods installed.
