This archive will insert the Half-Life Uplink demo levels seemlessly
into the full game using Lambda Reactor Core port 07 and its return.
It also corrects the scientist-speaking-with-two-tongues bug and the
Blue Shift induced inconsistency of Barney Calhoun not wearing armor
at the first door. Some unused objects were added to the introlevels
too, stealth bombers, a construction worker, a rat and other things!
Thanks go to the QuArK team and Zoner for their great editing tools!
Install by extracting the archive into the retail or Steam Half-Life
folder overwriting files and Gordon Freemans experience in the Black
Mesa facility during the critical incident will finally be complete!

I've played this map multiple times, and I'm really glad that you uploaded it as an additional chapter. But, IMHO, adding another content like cut NPCs was a bit surplus)

Exactly. It doesn't change any gameplay either...
I put into my halflife folder and entered port 07, and enabled addon content...but it doesn't work. Care to tell me how it's supposed to work?
This addon only works if you haven't already visited the port 07 map.

You should unpack not only the maps, but "sentences.txt" from "sound" folder as well. The voices for Uplink should be in Half-Life files themselves.

Question: does this addon work with the HD models?
For the most part - sure, it does.
But HD model of scientist has no one animation sequence in the beginning of Uplink (near the console).
P. S. Also, you have to copy the "deadbarney" model from HD Pack of Blue Shift for "c0a0" map.
Why does barney's waiting animation making him control the flashlight by force
Because this model was taken directly from Blue Shift, and the author didn't fix the angle of flashlight (or remove it).

I tried it and he still doesn't hold the flashlight nor bang on the door.
That's strange.
I looked at the map and the flashlight is build by brushes that I can't move...
Does this work with Half-Life Restored?
Half-Life Restored doesn't seem to change too much, so I guess it will work.
I used this map in brutal half-life beta 2 (But not c1a4I map), It's good btw
Is it possible to make it so that the Uplink maps are listed as UPLINK in the load game menu instead of hldemo1?
I took a look but I don't see a way to do this. As far as I know the other HL maps are also displayed using their cryptic names...
Why hasn't anyone done a playthrough with this addon installed? It's awesome, and gives the full Half-Life experience.
