Makes the game spawn the BAS weapons more frequently and removes some vanilla weapons in the spawn pool to prevent duplication of weapons and other things
THIS BAS ADDON IS FOR OCT 25 2022 PATCH
I never knew copy and pasting code and analyzing the config files was that tedious this took me a whole day to finish.
I've noticed that the majority of stalkers usually use vanilla weapons and traders selling the vanilla Ak-47 and the BAS Ak-47 at the same time and I wanted to fix this so I edited the config files of BAS, also I used the trader overhaul trader config files for this to make sure its compatible with this addon so you need trader overhaul to minimize crashes so get it here. Make sure this addon overwrites Trader overhaul.
Also there are weapon mods you'll need to make sure this addon will run and hopefully wont crash the game you need the Desert Eagle Gunslinger addon and obviously The BAS addon. As usual make sure this addon overwrites the weapon mods.

How's the compatibility?
This addon is not DLTX but having DLTX in your game would make things easier for compatibility on your addons. Oh right regarding to Trader Overhaul the Outfit version is not compatible.
What are the changes?
Legendary Military stalkers can use the RPG-7 now... have fun, and Majority of Nato weapons and the tacticool aks now usually spawn on Mercs and the UNISG dudes. I changed the bandit's loadout too and they can finally use some nato weapons like the M4A1 and Attachments should spawn more.
I also changed the jamming RNG of the stalkers so hopefully they jam less and from testing it I've noticed they shoot more now, though they still tend to do tactical reloads.
THE HARD VERSION OF TRADER OVERHAUL CHANGES:
I Highly recommend using this version of the mod since I completely updated the trader pool of every faction and All bas sights, upgrades and silencers is now buyable on most traders and Implemented a tier system inspired from the mod 2D SCOPE OVERHAUL

BUT I found a way to deal with the issue, I found out that you can tell the game to blacklist things in the game, the config SHOULD this time actually get rid of the dupes that still spawn, and I also removed the bas labels on every BaS guns and attachments, and lastly I got rid of smoke grenades on the spawn list since it made the game a bit too easy.
5/6/2023 = I finally managed to fix the stalker storyline and the monolith issue and finally edited the vanilla starting loadout, and Removed the "Limitations" label in the description since its not needed anymore.
1/22/2023 = made a patch for Starting Loadout Rebalanced v1.2 since I use it.
1/22/2023 = Updated the description and made a version of the addon that doesn't depend on the Desert Eagle Gunslinger addon, redownload the addon v2 should contain that certain file.

Hmm, is there anyway you can make a version that doesn't require the g36 pack and the pistol? I'm using yet another reposition mod and g36 isn't working properly (position all whacked out) with this requirement.
Here's a version without the required mods Drive.google.com, I'll eventually put this to the main file.
Actually the g36 pack wasn't really required due to the guns has the same names with the vanilla counter parts in the config files

Shouldn't cause issues. But may not work fully.
As long as the game won't crash and render it unplayable I'm happy. Did some testing though it should be ok putting the addon midsave. though existing stalkers may cause issues such as potentially spawning duplicated weapons within their person and for traders if you interacted to them previously they'll still have their original trade, Just sleep then comeback to them their stock should refresh and should fix things.
Is this made for the 2022 version of BaS or for the 2021 one?

I've checked and did some comparing, on the spawn pools yeah, its practically same but in this addon I made it particularly for Trader Overhaul and did some small changes on what stalkers spawn with, Like what I wrote in the description, I made military legendary stalkers spawn with the RPG7, and made some little changes on the bandit loadout to make them a bit stronger due to how bad their weapon selection especially the experienced bandit stalkers, Ive noticed most of them has bad or underpowered guns on them, so I buffed their weapon spawn a little bit to give them a fighting chance. I made the bas High Calibers weapons spawn more since I've also noticed that those guns doesn't really spawn frequently... on that addon you gave me it seems that it not compatible for the folks who uses trader overhaul, and it's weapons spawn pool is similar to the vanilla spawn pool. You should try reading this addon description and analyze what I did different if you have the time of course.
My only problem with this is that it seems like it makes Bas' smoke grenades spawn way more and regular grenades spawn way less
But that might be a problem on my end
I'm 99% sure its my addon causing that, I do apologize for that, that was not intentional but I decided to leave it be since sometimes its not fun to get grenaded especially when you didn't hear the damned thing land near you.
I removed the smoke grenades on the spawn pool it made the game a bit too easy.

its on the description but ima type it here anyways, I'm sure when you have the BaS guns usually at end of the name of the gun there's the label called (BaS) or (BaS & Van) I removed that since its not needed anymore

If I understand correctly, in order to install the mod correctly, you need to:
1. BAS
2. install Trader_Overhaul_1.32.2.zip\1.5.2 Update Version\Trader Overhaul (Main Folder)
3. BAS_weaponry_Populator_v4.2.1.rar\If your not using the required addons use this instead

Unsure if this is intentional or not, but Professor Hermann does not sell any items, nor does he allow any items to be sold. It seems that there was something intended to be sold [common_supplies], but it is completely empty and as such, he will not sell anything.
I fixed this by using the old trade config for him for 4.2.1.

does this have compatibility issue with the retrogue additional weapon and dltx simple weapon pack?
as long as the mod is dltx and the weapon pack has its own system to spawn stuff naturally and doesn't overwrite files on my addon it should be fine, though if the mod isn't compatible or dltx the game won't crash but the game won't spawn them in regular playthroughs. To answer your question yes retrogue additional weapons and dltx simple weapon pack is compatible.
the PB (bas) pistol, on the contrary, has been replaced with a vanilla one
I did that deliberately due the vanilla one is slightly better stat wise, I'll do something about that when I have the time, thanks for the feedback!
Any plans to expand upon the starting loadouts? (i.e support for extra weapons addons or more tweaks)

I have run into an issue where quest givers (Olivious and Mangun for example) will ask for the non-BAS version of weapons (AK-105, PMM, etc.), but this mod removes them making their quests impossible to complete without deactivating this mod. Upside, I know how to get around it now, but it might be something to look at solving in the future.
Oh shoot I thought those guns wasn't used by the game, I guess my memory ****** me over lol, I'm still struggling on how to change the quest rewards on certain quests, I'll take note and do something about this when I have the time, and thanks for the feedback!
Hi there, should I be receiving the occasional weapon drop from npc's at 100%? I keep getting this and I don't have any other loot changing mod other than this and can't figure out why this keeps happening.
