Creating a great website tutorial

Being Updated as of 7/18/08, a lot has changed since I first wrote it.

So, you want a website?

First off you need a domain, and a server and for reliability and ease I recommend pay some one to host your website.

I use Yahoo, for three reasons-

1. How big there name is
2. Unlimited Bandwidth
3. Unlimited Storage

Next up - Get the blog service Wordpress

The blog program "Wordpress" is simply amazing to use, and there is no way around. With it, You no longer have to update links, have to remember the html or php formatting, or have the website source code to make up dates. Your free to update it any where in the world where you can get internet and it has a program that looks similar to Microsofts program Word built into your website. Pictures, video, and media are a simple click and upload to get them on your site, and forget about having to remeber where you uploaded it to for links. Also you get a uniform Website with themes, which change you entire website design and feel with one simple click.

With wordpress, feel warm and toasty with the knowlegde that at it design helps cut back on bandwidth waste becuase of the heavy reliance on css, and php. Which means the only thing you downloading on that next click on the website is just the text and media, not the layout, background and etc.
