Greetings My Fellow Team
As you are all aware It is Christmas in just 2 days, and I would like to take this moment to wish you all a very happy, and a very Merry Christmas!.. I hope that you all get lovely presents, and that you enjoy this time of the year for your family, and would love to say that you all are an extremely amazing and a talented crew to work with. You all are genuinely lovely people.
Please submit any work of images, music samples, clips, models or anything new that you have done, to this group page or to the group email please before Christmas. I will over the Christmas period be looking at all of your work, possibly on the 27th December, If not before. I understand that you all would like to spend this time to relax, be lazy, and eat lots of food, and be merry with your family, and I expect you to be also...........Enjoy a few days without needing to commit yourself to this mod, come the 27th or 28th, I shall possibly being reviewing all of your progress and sending new messages with tasks out, and having individual words with each and everyone of you. (No need to fear lol).
If you wish, and are happy too, feel free to do work for this mod over Christmas, and It would be wonderful If you did so; however I will not expect you all to start working on this mod again till the 1st January 2012. A new year, a new start. Just please make sure that after Christmas, you all!, contribute in order to remain in this mod. Several members are to still submit work; however after Christmas will review if they are to remain on this team, before I start collecting the new members. But we officially are back on........on the 1st January, and each month, I would like to have some form of progress from all of YOU!!... even if just a teenie weenie small piece of work, I want you all to get into the habit of submitting work....
I understand that since 6 months ago, none of you have seen my mapping stuff, especially after I lost it all, but thought I would put some quick screenies up, just showing a start, to a map I just started. Here It is;
Personally I am very proud of the small trench system I made, as It is a lovely start...
As a technical question that I need help with, how do I put skins and gun models into the game, so I can use them in Gem Editor? As I plan to make a promotional trailer...... for this mod
For example I have the "Confedusoldier#1.dds"
How do I get that into the gem editor??????.... I understand that in Men of War, there are 3 packages, 1, 2, and 3..but please can someone tell me how to do It, so I don't mess my Men of War up lol
Other than that guys, please feel free to leave your comments below, and any help on that question will much be appreciated, and I want to see more of your work asap, If you still need to submit it, and other than that MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!, will speak to you before the new Year, enjoy it, and we will work hard in the New Year for this mod..
P.S: Have already found some people, who would be amazing to join our mod, and will shortly contact them to see if they will join our team for the New Year ^_^

Oh, and to put the skin in the game, you need to edit the .mtl file. Depending on what you exported it with, Milkshape's Soldier's .ply or 3DS-Max's MoW Exporter, you need the correct .mtl. So far, I haven't been able to acquire the Soldier's .mtl.
