The Vaegir army, too, is readying for the coming battle. Their commanders are confident in their strength and training, and they are eager to prove their worth against their Swadian foes. The men have grown accustomed ot the sounds of clashing weapons and horses, as they too prepare for the impending battle of Sarles.

They pray for their soldiers' safety and for victory on the battlefield, hoping that the sacrifices made in this conflict will not be in vain.

The Duke's Baron, Alaric Aestus, rode at the head of his troops, his armor gleaming in the sunlight.
