Sorry for so little updates recently.
Work is still underway on this mod dont worry, I'm not dead and neither is the mod.
Just a few updates...
Unfortunatly, The Chosen is now down to a 2-man team.
I'm working on the level design, Audio production, Textures and Promotional work. The other team member is working on textures, as he is a dab hand with photoshop.
This means that I am currently looking for people to help me with this mod. Due to the loss of the other people who worked on this mod, I regret to announce that this mod will not be released on the proposed date of February 2010. At the moment, it is looking like Q4 2010, if I cannot get anyone else to help.

Also, I have good news and bad news.
The bad news is that I am being made redundant from work.
The good news is that this gives me a lot more time to work on my own hobbies, and plenty more time to work on this mod.
I'm not 100% sure if people actually want this mod. If you do, please post here with comments/suggestions etc. Please also vote to nominate this mod for ModDB's MOTY. It would certainly boost morale on the team, and hopefully shorten the time until the ETA.

this mod will be the best cus the game was f***ing awesome even though it was released back in 1998 it is still a hit to me which is why i know people want to play this mod cus its based of a great classic game :D

I want this thing out. 2010, 2050, whatever. As long as it respects Blood in its essence, this is gonna be good, and since you listen to the community feedback, this is even better.

I joined moddb to follow this mod. I am so excited for this mod. Blood was my favorite pc shooter, just above doom and duke nuke 'em. I would love to help if that's possible.

Well I can't do anything with the HL source mod, unfortunately I'm working on a mod myself (an addon for Blood) so I don't have enough time to spare. The only thing I can do is musical stuff, like rewriting the game's musics, this kind of things.
I registered just to say how much this mod means to me. Keep it going your doing a great job!!!

This mod, if it gets properly made, would be a total dream-thing for me - and for really LOTS of other people, I assure you. Simply get the job done really good, as to make as few reasons to complain about its faithfulness-to-the-original as possible.
As for now, I honestly don't like the shotgun visible in one pic and the TNT barrel in another. The shotgun should be probably more creatively re-created - just make it some really good looking, rusty saw-off, resembling the original one primarily in climate.
And the TNT barrel... I'd go for more detailed original-like look... or some positively new one, just the one in the pic available does not, honestly, look too climatic.
If i just got some new gear I could be of some sensible modelling help... But as for now I'm rather out of the game, stuck with my old-faithful pIII 1000MHz 384RAM.
I honestly wish you lots of good luck and motivation on this endeavour. (BTW, joined the MODDB just to post this one.)
