DN3D SOB Version 0.85 Changelog

Bugs
Fixed a bug where some Newbeast Drones spawned by the new enemy portal spawn effects would be very tiny in size.
Fixed a bug on E2L2 that caused Devourer sub-bosses to glitch out when they're above water and you're below water.

Frame Rate Optimizations
Reduced the chance that corpses spurt blood after being damaged or gibbed to minimize frame rate issues.
Reduced the chance that bullet impact smoke gets create to minimize frame rate issues.

Weapons
Four Horsemen Nuclear Explosion lasts twice as long and drops twice as many secondary explosions.
Increased the number of flak bomblets released by the Pipebomb upon detonation from 20 to 30.
The Long Strike's auto targeting system no longer sometimes targets invisible Liztroop Captains.
Long Strike
Fire Mode 1 - Can now be fired while constantly holding the button down.
Syphon Chamber
Fire Mode 3 - Fires a large bouncing projectile that does severe damage to anything it touches and also creates a blackhole once it touches the floor that sucks in nearby enemies until they are completely removed from existence at the cost of 50 rounds and requires a 30 second cooldown period.
The Alien Brain Weapon gives you the ability to release a constant wall of psychic projectiles that explode anything they touch with the FIRE MODE 1 Button, and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once it's ammo has been depleted.
The Battlelord Chaingun fires bullets at high speed with the FIRE MODE 1 Button, lobs Mortar rounds with the FIRE MODE 2 Button, and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once it's ammo has been depleted.
The Overlord Rocket Launchers fire dual missiles with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once it's ammo has been depleted.
The Gorilla Captain Mortar Launcher fires mortars with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once it's ammo has been depleted.
The Pigboss's Heavy Machinegun fires bullets at a high rate with the FIRE MODE 1 Button, lobs Mortar rounds with the FIRE MODE 2 Button, and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once it's ammo has been depleted.
The Lizbosses' Dual Chainguns fire bullets at a high rate with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once their ammo has been depleted.
The Heavy Pigcops' Minigun fire bullets at a high rate with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once their ammo has been depleted.
The Devourer sub-boss's Spiker Claw fires 12 spikes at once in a spread formation at a fast rate with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once their ammo has been depleted.
The Light Anti-Tank Weapon fires a very powerful missile with the FIRE MODE 1 Button and can be dropped with the FIRE MODE 3 Button or once the ammo has been depleted.

Enemies
Increased the blood effects when killing shrunken enemies.
Toxic Aliens are now sometimes spawned in toxic waste and will spring up when close, but not too close, and spit poisonous goo.
When gibbed some enemies will leave behind pieces of floating cloth.
Reduced the Grayman's height.
Battlelord sub-bosses are no longer spawned in uderwater sectors.
Battlelord sub-bosses can now be swapped out with hulking Gorilla Captains.
Gorilla Captains have lots of health, decent speed, and spam their Mortar Cannon excessively.
If you spawn a Battlord or an Overlord via the console they will spawn in as their sub-boss variant.
Newbeast Drones can now be shrunk down and expanded properly with the Zsalinski Culverin.
When killed Graymen now drop Alien Brain Weapons and you can use them by pressing the USE Button when near it.
When killed Battlelord sub-bosses now drop their big chaingun and you can use it by pressing the USE Button when near it.
When killed Overlord sub-boss corpses can now be harvested for their rocket launcher back packs by pressing the USE Button when near them before the corpse is further damaged.
When killed Gorilla Captain sub-bosses drop their big mortar launcher and you can use it by pressing the USE Button when near it.
When killed Pigboss sub-bosses drop their big Heavy Machinegun and you can use it by pressing the USE Button when near it.
When killed the Lizboss sub-bosses drop their Dual Chainguns and you can use them by pressing the USE Button when near them.
When killed Heavy Pigcops drop their Minigun and you can use it by pressing the USE Button when near it.
When fully gibbed Devourer sub-bosses may drop one of their Spiker Claws and you can use it by pressing the USE Button when near it.

Items
Death Drones no longer sometimes target invisible Liztroop Captains.
You now grow bigger in size when you use Steroids.
Replaced the nightvision goggles HUD icon with a pair of sunglasses since it's actually Duke's sunglasses that provide the night vision.
When killed while Steroids are available in your inventory you will be brought back to life, given a random amount of health, and engage your Mighty Duke weapon to get some much needed revenge.

Maps
Added a road block to E1L1 and changed the bathroom floor texture.
Added a road block and more decorations to E1L2.
Added vehicle decorations to E3L2.
Added vehicle decorations to E3L4.
Added vehicle decorations to E3L5.
Added Serious Sam's corpse to a secret area on E5L2.
Added new car sprites for car decorations found in maps.
Sometimes dead soldier corpses will have a Light Anti-Tank Weapon lying nearby that you can use by pressing the USE Button when near it.
Spinning fan blades blocking air ducts now cause damage to any actor that gets too close to it.
Added some more upscaled map decorations that were not already implemented.

Misc
Updated to the latest version of Eduke32.
Replaced the original Eduke32 executable's icon with a new custom icon for DN3D-SOB.
Fixed a bug that caused the custom Drone gibs to create the wrong gibs when destroyed.
Added more effects to more destructible map objects.
Gave lots of map objects the ability to be destroyed if they didn't already have the ability.
Smoke, fire, poison fumes, and other similar effects are no longer emitted from actors unless the player is within their view.
Blood pools no longer show up on sloped surfaces.
Blood splats and blood pools no longer show up on surfaces that deal damage.
Nuke Barrels spew poisonous streams of goo when destroyed that can poison enemies that come in contact with them and cover your screen with goo.
Added particle effects to lava, slime, and purple lava floor textures.
Gibs and debris now use the same palette effects as the enemies and corpses when hit by different weapon damage types or sitting on damage inducing surfaces.
Added new effects for the SPIT projectile spit out by the Lizmen variants.
Added a new screen overlay for when you get hit by toxic goo or Lizman spit that distorts your view for about 10 seconds.
You can clean off green slime that's on your screen by engaging your Sunglasses Wiping feature by pressing the USE Button.
Footprints no longer show up on any liquid surfaces.
Footprints are now bigger when you are on Steroids.
Added particles and sound effects to bulletholes on electronic devices.
Added particles and sound effects to broken light textures on ceilings.
You can kick/stomp dead enemy corpses by pressing the USE Button when near them.
Increased chance for ceiling blood when enemies are gibbed.
Duke now drops a nuke when killed whether or not he was gibbed unless you have Steroids in your inventory.
Added new sprites with more detail for rats.
