Yes the mod is still alive. It's nearing completion. Lately I've been able to work on minor stuff - I added new music for land and space battles, and some to the galactic ambient - including several tunes from Rogue One as well as replacing some of the music with OT music.
What I'd like to do next is to make a custom opening crawl for the VNO GC.
ROGUE ONE SPOILER: I added Jyn Erso but she needs to be replaced due to her unfortunate fate in Rogue One.
I also need to figure out which fighters for other factions can destroy the Death Star. I had not encountered this problem before but recently came upon this issue.
From my knowledge of the franchise. Since the ds1 weakness was a thermal "exaust" port, then I have logically concluded that only a force sensitive in a fighter or bomber with torpedos could have made the shot. I hope this helps.
That's not the issue. The issue is actually coding in what fighters or squadrons can destroy the Death Star in battle.

You're making an alternate timeline anyway, why not keep Jyn anyway? She's a pretty cool character, why not keep her in and just say she barely escaped Scarif or something?
While that does hold some merit, I want to hold to the story proper up until the time where my story changes. So everything that happens canon before up until the destruction of Alderaan is the canon for me - hence Jyn is gone. I re-added Jan Ors though, shes a decent Rebel character too.
Okay, fair enough.
Are there U-Wings in this mod? Just wondering, as U-Wings are my favorite star fighter.

Can you please add rogue one death troopers? The mod will be more enjoyable if you added rogue one content
