Ltemplay discovered that game makes less problems if WD files are unpacked. New version will be available soon.
I activated the current version of NEP (which you can download) on my GOG Earth 2160 this way:
- Install Earth 2160
- Insert serial number into Earth216_serial program which is Earth 2160 directory. The serial number you can get form GOG support.
- Launch, activate and register your Earth 2160 (activation hint apear if you click skirmish button)
- After activation exit Earth 2160 and install NEP like in NEP readme
I found the ED campaign, it was a bit corrupted, because it was based on old unit names, but the first mission is working now, but needs mission descriptions, next missions needs some tweaks.
I think the unpacked verion, without WD files will be available before campaign will be released.

Played this game in my childhood. Glad to see a mod get ressurected as soon as i decided to give the game a revisit :)
