Hello everyone! Wow, we post news often, don't we? Of course you fine people have nothing against that ;) Anyhow, I'm hear to bring you more news on the mod's developement, so let's get on with!

First, we've got some amazing music tracks for you, composed by the team's lead sound designer, Adrian Lopez. We do have another sound designer, the legend Micheal Crostek, but he's been a bit busy. Anyhow, here you go!

Aren't those songs amazing? We are very serious about our music, and a lot of these tracks are subject to change. We wish to bring you amazing music instead of the old but awesome Half-Life 2 tracks.

Second, we have some screenshots of chapter 2. We have been working hard on detail, balancing out the cellblock A5 versus the Nova Prospekt Security Force, and making the chapter more interesting. Here are some screenshots of cellblock A5, please note: These maps are still in development.

We've add some light to what used to be a dark maintenance area leading to cellblock A3

More lightning in the maintenance area.

We have added headcrabs to cellblock A5, not that much of a threat to you or the Combine soldiers, but it spruces up the scene a bit.

Here, we have you battling soldiers of the Nova Prospekt Security Force.

I hope you have enjoyed those screenshots. We are working hard to improve on everything about the chapters, so stay with us for more updates.

Third, we have uploaded a wallpaper pack that is available for download for whoever wants new wallpapers. You can download it from:

We want to point out to you fine people that we now have a

All the songs except for Hunted (or maybe I just don't know where Hunted is from) are obviously just copy and pastes.
Startup is from The Dark Knight
2nd one is Valve's
4th one is from the movie 'Appalosa'
Unless the leading sound designer also made the Soundtracks of said items, These are ripped and the fact that the developer(s)can say they have a talented sound designer who composed these tracks is sad.

Thats where your wrong.

The 4th was made by us, the 2nd is also ours, but with the same name. It is also the name of the chapter of the game you will hear this song, this is no way made by Valve. The startup is also from The Dark Knight, but its not like we don't have permission to use it, and everyone knows this(its such a unique track) so... You didn't get the memo.

By the way, the Song10_Lambda, that's a custom segment from a song from the HL1 soundtrack, we're allowed to use that because it is included in HL2, and we haven't taken credit for the song.

Moron.

Why not just try and get a composer?

let me first start with saying that we are a friendly community here on Moddb, and words like "moron" i personally don't like to read here. it's doesn't serve any purpose at all to talk like that.

then, i have to agree with the others. you say at the top;
"... composed by the team's lead sound designer"
and that that person is you The Joker. But when people recognise the music parts you say that you have it from The Dark Knight and the Hl1 soundtrack that is included in HL2. so, you didn't compose it, you took it, with permission from others.
why then close you're comment with;
"...and we haven't taken credit for the song. "
when you say at the top ;
"... composed by the team's lead sound designer"
so, you, as the lead sound designer does take credit for someone else his work, or at least you tried to, but didn't succeed because people recognised the music parts.
to start then calling those people morons is a bit silly he, ...
just compose and take credit for that, or don't call yourself the lead sound designer who did compose these parts.

bit silly...
and sad to be honest.
