1: Fly vipers and raiders in 0g space maps and normal (non-0G close air support) ground attack maps
2: Command and crew Starships. Positions will include Adimiral (fleet flagship), Captian, Tactical Officer, Engineer (this is for you Mr. Scott), Commander Air Group(CAG) and Commander of Marines (ya, thats right, bad asses with GUNS!!
3: Go ground side with the latest in Armor/Infantry weapons. There will be Mechs!! U too can serve in SF (Spacial Forces-- sorry about the pun, couldnt help it ;) ) De Opperso Liber!!!
4: WIPE OUT HUMANITY!!! as a Tin Can. with 6 different Cylon solider models with all the nastys you have wanted to see! Yes, Cylons have swords!!!

It all sounds very good, a long and involved project that will rock at final release.

I already have about 8 mths of work done. with any luck ill have a cool New Years present in the form of an alpha release.
the presistant part may be tricky. i will approch it as a sectored hex map. clans will be required to sign up for the presistant worlds and have sanctioned matchs. the winner will 'own' the sector for 1 week. i will also try to put in a resource system so you can build base defences/shipyards. this will act as unlocks. the longer you 'hold' a sector, the harder it will be to take away from you. right now im doing everything but some of the python code, which is going to be handeled by Adm. Sammah. Any help would be welcome.
also, the 0g part only works on flying vehicles and i will make an installer for the people whom have joysticks to use there hat switchs for the thrusters. all 'ground' combat will be normal gravity. of course you will also be able to use the vertical thrusters to 'hover' and 'slip'.
