Finally, we released a new playable alpha build of our game Dead Squared. We had a good E3, and implemented a lot of the feedback from people over the web, and during demo sessions. It has taken a bit longer then normal but I'm pretty happy with it. Keep in mind the game does not have any gameplay progression, and only 4 craftable weapons. There is also no quality type drops. Meaning all the guns you can craft from the schematics are the same for now. No acutal rpg elements are in, but we do plan to get that in, in a later build.
In the next public build we will demo the quality types, along with improved enemy AI and encounters.

I'm really liking the feel of this game! Not too much to complain about seeing as though it's Alpha but the only thing I would like to mention is the slight (VERY slight) bit of lag when you walk into a room and things spawn in... but yea, Alpha, keep doing what you're doing :D
Yea that lag will go away once we properly pool the enemies. Right now they all just appear and the game takes a hit. Thanks!

The inventory system needs a bit of work, as that drag and drop would get frustrating after a while.

We will have a loot all option from container. UI will get better as we go :). Yea a previous comment was noted about the blood on hands, heh. We need some dynamic blood on the hands!
