I have written for the Mod Generations4Doom3 a converter from the Quake3 model format md3 to the ASCII format ASE, that can be read in by Doom III. Right now it works with not animated models.

You do realize that the reason the first generations project got hit with the cease and desist order was directly converting over source material (like textures and models)?
why does that loook so bad for a doom 3 mod???
Its converted from a Q3 model.
