Inverto is coming on Desura news

Hello!

Just as I'm writing this news post, Inverto is going through approvement process on Desura and will be available for download for your OS. Game was updated with version 0.41 and has Windows, Linux and Mac versions now (and Webplayer of course)! Just uploaded a new gameplay trailer, video is a little enhanced, but you can get the idea of how game will look like if I get Unity Pro version and enable postprocessing:

So what's new except "multiplatforms"?

1. Level #5 was a little remade and now is more interesting to play and a lot prettier. I plan to update all available levels for this alpha. So expect them to get more gameplay depth and more visually attractive (as well as player orientation friendly).


2. Player gravity alignment was changed and now it's more predictable and less disorienting. Now in most cases player rotates around it's "forward" direction. Also player sideways movement speed was increased.


3. Weapon fire rate is increased. Cooldown timer is now twice lower, it's not uber quick but, I managed to hold player in air with "8" for more than 60 seconds (try it on level #2). Playing around with game possibilities gives a lot of ideas, so expect for new types of puzzles mixed with gravity, air acrobatics and so on. To keep player in air his movement should be something similar to this:





4. Controls just like in any decent FPS game now can be configured. You're free to reassign keys, inverto mouse axis (there are plenty of people playing with inverted mouse, actually) etc. Music volume and sound volume controls are separated now.

As you may have noticed, Indiegogo campaign is over and it was a failure (sort of). But that's completely Ok. Now I have two options: go to work make some money and keep development going, or restart campaign with MUCH lower and more realistic funding goal, and of course try hard and spam get those journalists attention.
