Currently my design studio Hatclaw Design and our developer partners The Nightmare Studios, led by my good friend Daniel Carver, are very flattered to be considered the creators of the best Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis fan project.
Thanks to that and a long time of searching and fixing we offer you the following.
The Hammond's Dream Edition will try to be the definitive version of The Legacy Dream, offering an endless number of improvements and more versatile features for all players and that the experience of building their parks in the most faithful way to production and to the canon of the trilogy is not only more moldable and calm but also has the same challenges and excitement of the original game.
Here are the characteristics:
Compatibility, Bugs and Glitches:
⦁ Compatibility, lag and texture issues have been resolved (Maybe the biggest bug in this game. JPOG's Toshi graphics engine doesn't correctly accept textures that exceed 512x512, that's why it caused too many glitches and crashes that I couldn't find a solution. By changing this in the structures, dinosaurs, vegetation and other resolves it is correctly optimized for all types of PC until now).
⦁ Problems with lighting, weather and annoying illuminated squares (this could be successfully resolved while still keeping the shadows that characterize this mod and also improving the quality of the fog and the horizon without affecting the light control that connects with the structures and this luckily it eliminates the flashing box on many of the builds).
⦁ Improvements in the sound files and expansion of the sound effects of the dinosaurs (now many of the species have improved the encoding for their sounds so they do not replicate by mistake in other species).
⦁ Minor improvements to transcripts and descriptions of in-game items.
⦁ Slight dinosaur behavior improvements.
⦁ Better file optimization.
⦁ Operations Errors and Episodes resolved.

Improvements and gameplay:
⦁ Texture improvements for some dinosaurs (Herrerasaurus, Segisaurus, Corythosaurus, Edmontosaurus annectens and regalis, Maiasaura and Hypsilophodon).
⦁ Model and animation improvements for some species (male Triceratops, Corythosaurus, Microceratus, Hypsilophodon, Maiasaura).
⦁ New organization for the list of species of the base version of The Legacy Dream (now the Pteranodons will be in the main version).
⦁ New organization for the species list of the DLC "The InGen Forgotten Collection Pack". (Now there will be juvenile Gallimimus, pre-production Gallimimus, Edmontosaurus regalis, female Ankylosaurus, Raptor V.1 female variant from The Lost World, Raptor V.2 male variant with speckles and Geosternbergia).

I don't know if male and female variants are so relevant, I believe in my opinion that they should occupy these spaces of repeated dinosaurs for different species, to increase the diversity of animals... just a suggestion...
The purpose of this mod is not to increase the number of species, is for the canonical creatures already stablished in the original trilogy cronology of the film canon and their confirmed dimorphims and variants.
I understand, but if you want to talk privately, send me a private message here at moddb and I can give you some tips on how to exceed the limit of 40 species, it would be great especially for pterosaurs, thus having more space in the main incubator.
I know that old Trick but changing the code of Dinosaurs for the code of live food cause several problems in the behaviours and new animations on the animals, some old tricks are very glitchy, more in Legacy Dream for the complete change of the Game, so I prefer stay the animals in the common way.
this trick for pterosaurs shouldn't be a problem, as it's a barrier that even a modern mod can't get around
Maybe for common mods, this is a complete change of the all Game and their code. I tried already the Trick. I'm sorry but the Trick is very buggy in general.
