What's up, survivors!

So, before we begin with the article, I would like to clarify certain things.

1. We are actively looking for play testers who are willing to provide serious feedback on the game. I appreciate those who've contacted us in the past few weeks. Please email ice.noodle.bowl@gmail.com or firesriot@gmail.com

2. I will be uploading Dev Video every week to communicate as much as I can. We are also preparing a website & forum but this hasn't seen much of dev time as we are more focusing on developing the game itself.

3. Public release day is very...and I say again very close.

As usual, here's a Youtube link for the Dev Video. It was actually uploaded a week ago, but we've not had the time to write an article so it sat there getting no exposure.

To elaborate about the Dev Video, it covers - mostly - in game UI and character creation. Please note that the current build allows player to not only change skills, traits and load outs but also change appearance (hair, skin and etc)

Per usual I am going to include three screen shots.

Now we know that players hold items such as water bottles and drink from it in real time. Plus players can walk around in boxers :)

Another screenshot that shows that players can enter all building. Currently, we are watching zombies killing each other.

This zombie will sense you, track you down and kill you for food. Definitely.

ps. I've just finished encoding the 3rd Dev Video which covers weapons handling and zombies, so I will write an article and upload the next Dev Vid tomorrow - or a day later if it is against IndieDB usage policy. I am not exactly sure if uploading news articles one after the other is permitted.

Will you add Vehicles?I mean,open-world games MUST have vehicles...

Absolutely, I've already implemented some vehicles in-game although we will not make it accessible until vehicle modifications are ready. Currently, I am working on motorbikes and bicycles as an immediate ways of transport. Dev Video #4 covers this so stay tuned!

This is a tough question that is difficult to answer. We use third person perspective that works like a first person. We worked hard to have both 3rd person and 1st person elements to our game camera. This probably is quite hard to imagine until you actually try the game but the short answer would be yes.
