After talking with the Company Boss of Piranha Bytes / Pluto 13 "Michael Rüve" and discussing the copyrights about gothic 1, I have to shut down this project down.
This is the exact message he wrote back to me:
"Nein - das ist unzulässig. Gilt für jegliche Daten aus dem Spiel und auch Storyline, Namen etc.
Einzige Ausnahme wäre, wenn Du das rein privat für Dich machst, und die Sachen nie veröffentlicht werden."
In English:
"No, this would be forbidden. You cannot use original data out of the game or the Storyline, names ect.
The only exception would be, that you do this mod only for yourself, and no other person ever sees it."
So I guess all the work I put into this mod was for nothing. Im sorry to dissapoint all of you but I probaly should of asked about the copyright before I started the mod. Oh well,
