Hi, guys! I'm happy to finally announce that my next game is almost ready, and will be released exclusively on IndieDB on October 31st, 2011. It is a 2D horror game made in the RPG Maker VX engine called "Floor 10". It tells the story of a man who finds himself in a motel of insanity. Can he reach Floor 10 before he succumbs to madness?
The game isn't long at all (a playthrough's about 15-20 minutes), but it is worth every second! Tons of custom sprites, music and voice acting, as well as a few tracks "borrowed" from games such as Silent Hill make this a truly memorable experience. Watch out for it on October 31st!

heh, i doubt you have permisson to "borrow" any track from such games, that made me smile. anyways, the game looks good ;)
Fair use law - if I don't make any profit, don't cost the copyright holder any money and pay tribute (which I do), then I can use copyrighted material. I've done my homework ;)
And yeah, the game is pretty good, in my humble opinion, but ultimately, it's not up to me to decide. Make sure to play it when it comes out and tell me what you think :)
By using the songs you're also illegally sharing them with anyone who downloads the game.

I really don't wish to argue about this. Enjoy the game for what it is and let me worry about the technical stuff ;)
If something is copyrighted it means you cannot use it at all. You need to get permission to use there soundtracks even if it is for a non-profit game.
Game looks good will wait to see what it's like when gets released.
