Yesterday afternoon, Steam unleashed its brand new Greenlight system. Greenlight allows any game developer to post their content, and if the community rates it high enough, Steam will accept the game to be sold there. It's a method that they hope will involve gamers directly in telling Steam what they want to buy. Edge of Space has certainly made it's mark, with over 22,000 unique views in less than 24 hours, but even that accomplishment has only achieved 1% of the necessary votes. You can check out the Greenlight page for the details:

The games first complete trailer video was also rolled out for the occasion, and it does not disappoint! Included in the footage is the first video of the much heralded mechs in action, as well a look at the first boss to be shown to the public. Fans also get a look at the newly implemented gas simulation, which developer Jake promises that he has "evil things" planned for. The latest Kickstarter update, found here: Kickstarter.com tells us that beta testers will soon be experiencing the exciting new features first hand!

Congratulations, guys! It's worth pointing out that Steam hasnt finalized the numbers you need yet, so the percentages are kind of meaningless at this point. I would say the 22000 views are far more telling, and very encouraging! Good luck guys!
More than 37,000 now, and rising rapidly!
This I like! My little girl is very interested too, so when you go live, it looks like Ill be down for two copies!
(well, probably more - if you end up selling a four pack or something Ill probably just snag that - I already thought of a couple more people Id like to get in on this!)
With all the chaos on Greenlight in the last week it certainly has been a busy one But it looks like Steam/Valve is trying to correct some of this chaos with some new changes in Greenlight Yah!!! So hopefully things will improve and we can get back to Up-voting/Favorites on up and coming games we would like to see on Steam and in your gaming collections. Go EOS!
How are we doing?
Greenlight is dead in the water, atm. We're sitting at 3%, but traffic is way way down because people are so frustrated with it. >.<
