What is Uprising?
Entropy : Zero - Uprising is a mod for Entropy : Zero that lets you play as a Civil Protection Unit during the Uprising. The mod features a full campaign of 20 maps, a unique storyline, new enemies and weapons, a fully voiced cast of characters, and a soundtrack composed by various artists.

Hello... I have problems with textures: things like a bottle crashing into the ground or the steps of the giant bug walking at the beginning, show pink and black boxes instead of real effects (I am assuming that this is a missing texture)

Your installation is somehow faulty. Try reinstalling, please make sure to follow the steps very carefully.

I've reinstalled half life and downloaded the mod again from the scratch, and the problem persists; Here is a screen capture with what I'm getting when pressing 'F' for flashlight: Photos.app.goo.gl
I launch the game from the command line with "hl2.exe -game Uprising"

This is a mod for Entropy : Zero. You need to have Entropy : Zero installed on Steam, not Half-Life 2.
Also, please just launch the game through Steam. Don't use the command line if you don't know what you're doing

Hey I have got a few questions for the developers at employee8!
1.Is this canon to entropy zero series? when does this series heppen? after EZ1 and before EZ2? this is a spinoff?
2.Any news about Episode 2? because Episode 1 was a masterpieace!
1. Uprising's first episode happens in between Half-Life 2's chapter "Entanglement" and "Anticitizen 101", so in between EZ1 and EZ2. Bec intentionally appears in EZ2, and 3650 is also briefly mentioned in Uprising, meaning these mods are connected with each other.
2. Episode 2 is currently starting development. We're refining the story with some outside help and have started with the mapping process.

Hi, when I'm getting an error when I try unzipping the file. It first fails on demoheader.tmp with the message: Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error. If I skip that file, it continues to fail on most other files too.
I've downloaded the zip from a couple of different mirrors and still am getting the same issue. Any ideas?
Use 7zip to extract the file. This is also mentioned in the download instructions, please read them carefully!
