Greetings,
Despite some oddities - some of you might have followed the story - Enderal was awarded the "Game Award" in the category "Best Fan Creation". This is a big honor, not only for us, but also for the modding scene in general. A big thank you to everyone who supported and rallied for us!
For those of you who don't know what happened: During the ceremony, Enderal was not announced as a winner - but neither was Brutal Doom 64, the second nominee in that category. The category was simply skipped, and many of our team were left in confusion. Up to now, we have not received a word from TGA themselves, and only yesterday, through an article on Kotaku, we learned that Enderal did indeed win. Geoff Keighley, host of the show, explained that not announcing Enderal was a mistake and that they simply "forgot" about it. It's not something you'd expect from such a big show as the TGA, but at least we now know what actually happened.
A big thank you to everyone who supported us! You are the reason this projects exists. :)
Best,
SureAI
