Post news Report RSS EA pulled out C&C4; in Steam Store

Command and Couquer 4 Tiberium Twilight has been removed from Steam.

The removal of Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight from Steam might seem strange, but EA has a reason for this.

Notice: Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight is no longer available on the Steam store.

Why did this happen?

The particular reason why EA removed the game from Steam is the user review score. It received "Overwhelmingly Negative" at 17%. It was also is ranked #4 on top 100 worst Steam games by Steam250.

C&C4 is viewable on Steam but cannot be purchased. You can look for physical copies out there if you want to see what the game is like.

Screenshots

These screenshots look nice, but don't judge a game only by its screenshots. Gameplay and story are important factors for games.

Given how bad this is, I say good riddance.

Tho I wonder if this means they're working on a brand new C&C game that isn't a remaster of any of the older ones (tho I would love to see Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 + their expansion packs get the remaster treatment)? I'd love to see a proper C&C4; that completely retcons this MOBA-esque dumpster fire.

EDIT: Well EA announced a new C&C, but unfortunately it's another mobile game (because that worked so well the first time am I right).

If at least this can be for make this fourth game FREE, good for their.
If not.....another silly decision from EA. I wonder if the new SW Battlefront 1 and 2 will be removed for bad scores too.

Kind of doubtful.

I mean, EA's Battlefront 2 had a pretty awful launch with their loot boxes and tediously slow progression, but last time checked they seemed to have heavily toned down the P2W aspect after the backlash they received and it's gotten a more positive re-evaluation.

from maybe a few years ago i do remember finding a still active player base in that game so ya on top of reducing the p2w parts i tihnk most of the hating souls who did not keep because they was not a starwars fan that wanted a pvp match. if anything its one of the rare game i activly play thats pvp based. just because its sound enough that even a semi compatent player can have some fun for a round or 2. battlefrount 2 is likly to exist as is 1.
