After the release of my mod a few weeks ago, a modder from the Fleetops forum, Bam920 has graciously offered to help polish up my mod a bit. Soon every race will have avatars, new music, new menu screen. Also the amount of resources you start off with will change. Double resources will remain the same, while normal settings will be changed to make multiplayer more challenging with human opponents.
We also have a facebook page up to help promote this mod.
I will post more in the future to give more of an idea of the release date.
