Today I'm going to present you a early alphatesting teaser of the mod and finally a Dogfight website!

Posted by Ztormi on Jul 16th, 2010

So 1-year army service over and whole summer ahead! I'm happy to show you some of the alpha footage recorded from the fun alphatesting sessions. Lot's of stuff have changed since then but hopefully it gives you some impression what to expect from the mod!

Some of the changes made after the video was recorded:
-Better hitregistration
-Player icons to see other players from longer distances.
-Slightly increased speed of the airplanes
-Map progress

Sadly broken SDK has ceased the map development for a while but it seems to work now.

The Website
Good friend of mine Wickit (Moddb.com) has created a website with forums for Dogfight mod. I invite every one of you to register to the forums and post your own suggestions and thoughts about the mod!

Looks great, I just have one or two minor suggestions. Don't let other planes move the players camera, and add more interpolation turning so it isn't so jerky and looks much smoother. I'm talking about when you move and seem to let go of the movement keys and level out the movement isn't as smooth as it could be.

Good luck!

Nice, but the planes are too small for the scenery.
