DIRECTORS CUT – COMING OUT THIS FRIDAY!

We are gearing up to release some new footage of ORION: Prelude. We premiered a technology demonstration at this year’s EuroGamer 2010 event that took place in London. When we first set out to build this we had been on an extremely tight schedule and we didn’t have the time we would have hoped for to take on a task as large as this.

In those 30 days we were tasked with:
-Storyboarding and mood art for the cinematic.
-Creation of the environment.
-Creating all particle effects.
-Creating all props and materials.
-Hand crafting all animations for the players & dinosaurs.
-Outlining camera movement.
-Setting up the cameras.
-Capturing the footage.
-Editing the footage and compressing the footage.
-Creating the sound effects and soundtrack.

So we have taken it upon ourselves to give you the trailer that we wanted to premiere. This will be a remastered version of the NVIDIA / EuroGamer 2010 Trailer. It will have complete special effects, particle effects, brand new camera movements and plenty more.

Get ready for the EuroGamer 2010 Director's Cut. Coming Friday, November 12th, 2010. See you guys on Friday!

This is the first 'REAL' Orion game. The Source Multiplayer Beta was a free tech demo released to the public to obtain feedback to better the game and to benefit what eventually became 'ORION: Prelude'.
