DH Press Release: 8 Days Until D-Day
With only just over a week to go until DH is made public our devs are hard at work. While last minute bugs continue to rear their ugly heads the DH team is working around the clock to make sure the first beta of DH is as near perfect as we can manage. In the mean time though we are pleased to be showing you another little teaser. The content featured in this months press release will be featured in patches after the initial release of the mod.
First up Protector who joined us last month has produce as truly stunning texture for Tman's .50cal model (featured in our last press release). The .50 will be added to the US Tanks to help give them some punch against the German AT crews.
As part of our effort to “break out” of Normandy after the initial DH release we showed you our first Ardennes map last week. One of the tanks we will be adding to that map and others of the same campaign coming out in patches is the M36 Jackson. Modeled by Tman we are hoping that once we add in the truly behemoth like Axis tanks of the late war period that Allied vehicles such as the Jackson will keep the two sides more than even.
Lastly we thought we'd show off some misc in game action. The main shot is Wacht am Rhein featuring a Panther reskin made again by Protector. We hope to see you all on the servers next week.

Well there was another press release planned for tonight but this one was delayed getting on here (not moddbs fault). I'll upload it tommorow or saturday. Btw for anyone interested the DH user manual should be availible through moddb in our dloads section shortly.
p.s. latest stuff can be found on our forums.
Very nice, looking forward to D-Day to play!
I hope they put the hellcat in :) best US tank from the war
We will be adding more tanks later on
Decide to release it the day after I head to China for a month. I see how it is.
well we had you in mind you see :)
:3 only few days left cant wait
It's a tad strange how the manual gives a lot of specific information for the 506th PIR but then goes on to list "US Tank Division" and "US Infantry" without any specific unit. I also think it's strange to lump the SS/Heer/Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine into one big group and then single out the Fallschirmjäger lol. It's still a very slick manual and full of interesting info though, especially for the vehicles and maps.
the reason behind it is the US airborne units in DH only features 101st and 82nd AB whereas there are about 10-15 different Heer, SS, British Infantry and US infantry units each skinned and ready for anyone to use. We were going to do every unit we had in game but the list made us realise that it would be about 50 pages of unit descriptions which was too much.
This mod really makes me wish I´d own RO. I just saw the box-version for around 10 Euro, so I´ll probably buy it. Do I need Steam to play it or can I play the boxed version without Steam?
you need to run steam to play RO im afraid.
That´s no problem, I use Steam since 05 and had no problems yet ;)
I ordered RO today at Amazon and can´t wait to play your mod. I played Ro some time ago and it was lots of fun and I guess it´ll be the same with DH :D
Btw, will you have a password-protected pre-release or do I have to wait with the downoad untill Friday? And is there already a time (timezone is important, too) when you´ll release it?
The files will uploaded shortly before June 6th and the password for them will be given out at 12:15am June 6th.
Sorry for asking so many questions, but in which timezone is 12:15? An American or in GMT?
I'm on the east coast of the US will be about 6pm ish on the 5th
will the mod be exe??? i really hope it is cus that would make it like a billion times easier??
We wouldn't want to cause anybody hassle putting DH on so yep the installer will be .exe
I just want to drive the shermans about =)
WHOOOOOO god bless you dh team
