A gameplay update involves the demon team having to work together to kill the human team, a human can only be killed from a fatality move up close (fire, gib, or demonic possession) when the human player has high fear levels. Human team members fear levels will lower back down over time as the player calms down.
The hud is being updated to represent the changes to the demons controls as the demons now have hot keys 1-8 to trigger abilities and in combinations, and a method to represent the cooldown before that ability can be used again.
The headcrab will be replaced by a familiar, animal based, and could be fictional. Still looking for a modeller that can make something small with 4 legs and can walk.

Awesome video, the possession idea is pretty cool, but is there any way the player can resist this and does it have a recharge? I'm just thinking that the demon could just keep run around and posses people, and that might get on people's nerves. It seems very early though, so I understand.
You have demon power so it is limited
Its a kill move in the game, so can only be done close up to a player with no health and the demon would need a fair amount of power to control the humans. This should be where demon team play comes in.
Leaving the possession will kill the player. I might make it so if the demon possessing the player is killed then the player can resume control.

Heard that a few times, I've never played hidden source, and I've promised myself not to play it until I've finished this mod so not to be influenced by it or by trying to be extreamly different from it etc. :)

I love the possession idea, however I'm not quite sure on the system set in motion here. I have a couple suggestions, please bear with me and understand that there just suggestions, I'm not trying to hate on the work being done here.
First I would suggest making the possessing an ability similar to the gravity gun. When you use the power on a prop it makes the prop hover and shake (nearby props whiten a said radius may also be affected) then they can be launched and fired.
Another suggestion would be to make the possession in 3rd person. Although being able to see though walls and floors would be a bad thing, so that may not be the best option.

Theres a push & pull abilitie that doesn't require the object to be possessed (bit like the Mass effect, KOTOR system but for entitites).
But making the objects shake first sounds cool, at the moment the left mouse button will fire the object, I can make the right mouse button float or shake the object around first or build up a charge by doing that to give the humans some notice.
This looks very fun and nice. Can't wait for release.

The gameplay itself seems ******* amazing and fun, but it really looks too HL2ish, you should get a modeler. :D
Working on getting as much of it away from HL2 as we can for open beta 0.1, I'd love a full conversion by first beta but don't think it'll happen.
Eventually it'll all be updated :D

It's an interesting idea, but it looks like it wouldn't be fun playing as a human really in comparision to a demon.
I like playing as the humans as I like seeing the environment change, catch fire and seeing things fly around all over the place.
The sides are even so its not like youre getting slaughtered.
Wireless guided RPG? THAT SOUNDS SO BORING! U gotta make a wired guided RPG. That's just awesome.

The most obvious replacements for the headcrab to me would seem to be a black cat or some sort of manky rat.
I can't help but feel like this reminds me of a gamecube game I used to play called "Geist" :P
