So, what would be better for the UNSC, the current upgrade system, or separate buildings? Or maybe an anti-infantry weapon on top of a bunker? Ideas people, ideas!
Also, for the covenant, I was thinking, get rid of the red floating plasma cannon, keep the shade, and add those big cannons from Halo 2 (NOT the ones from Reach)
I think a modular defense platform would definitely be suitable for UNSC forces.
You almost never see UNCS guys in bunkers... at least from what I'v seen.
Id say.... due to them almost always on the run.... maybe have like chain gun turrets for infantry and rocket pods for armor and.... I think thats all you see of defencive stuff in the halo games for the humans.
But other then that... the cov are.... well they already got a lot of turrets in game lol.
i personally think like reach turrets for anti air and infantry as well as green-sage concrete walls with spotlight like on the UNSC command center. anti tank could be like a patriot type missile system.
I think bunkers would suit the UNSC. Reach anti air turrets should be used too. Watch towers would be nice too. Maybe some trenches if you can.
Also, littlelostbot, there are bunkers seen in halo, and similar defensive positions. The chain gun turrets could just inside a bunker.
I must of missed them them. In that case then ya, it would give them a in game defensive structure and stuff
The AA turrets are most likely gonna be in, im actually modelling a bunker from scratch (GASP!)
idk about trenches, but the Reach AA turret is DEF in (hint hint)
H3 ODST, the part in the campaign where you blow the bridge to the ONI alpha site. It has Guass cannon turrents, you could base a defensive structure on that.
TBH i do like the current turrent system for the UNSC but a bunker with a turret upgrade does sound better. Although it might just end up full of rocket guys and a sniper which is why a turret could be more balanced. Maybe the turret takes up space in thee bunker and so there is a reduced number of infantry slots?
