Children of Liberty Alpha 0.1.1 has been released. Many bug fixes and improvements from our first week online. Free to play at www.lantanagames.com

Thanks to everyone who tested our first public alpha build of Children of Liberty. We fixed all of the most pressing bugs, especially the one that was causing the game to not load for some people. This and several other bugs have been cleaned up for this week's release.

Among the other new features are improved lighting. We had received numerous reports of the game being too dark for some monitors, so to compensate and to help make everything look better, we have adjusted the ambient lighting to match that of the current sky color.

Collisions have also been fixed. Last week, the player was able to run right through objects. This is no longer the case, but said objects can be easily jumped over/into.

We're also in the process of rebuilding the AI, so in the meantime the holdup maneuver isn't working. It'll be back in as soon as the AI is behaving itself.

If you'd like to try the build for yourself, you can play it at www.lantanagames.com/colalpha.html . Weekly updates will be posted every Wednesday.

Looks nifty. Just a quick note: the fullstop is part of the link and it results in a broken link if clicked. Small thing, but it might reduce the amount of people that play it. =) Watching.

@Desiderium Whoa! Thanks for the catch! All fixed now. :)

@Henley Well the Desura build got submitted a couple hours ago (thank you so much, btw) and we're hoping for Desura, Steam, and Mac App Store minimum. OnLive would be pretty cool too.
