- Hey guys.
- Right off the bat i just want to announce that the CoD4:OL beta will end Sunday, August 17th. I love that people did come and check out the weapons, give feedback and so on. I got feedback regarding most of the weapons, and i've fixed several weapons myself.
- Will there come another beta? Maybe. We will see.
- Now there are alot of ideas in my head that i want to put into CoD4:OL. Now i will give you guys the chance of VOTING on several things. I'll list the pro's and the con's on all of them.
- Voting 1.
- Do you guys want custom voiceovers which are technically not from Call of Duty?
- Pro's: Custom voiceovers means we can create and modify next to ANY voice in the game. This also allows us to create more gametypes with voiceovers, also more killstreaks.
- Con's: The Call of Duty voices (MW2 TF141 and MW2 OpFor voices) will not be put in. Some gametypes might or might not have voiceovers at all.
- Voting 2.
- When (Or if) a beta launches, which would fit you guys the most:
- A: Weekly updates,
- OR
- B: Monthly updates? (if it's a long beta)
- A Pro's: More updates. Weapons, models, animations and more will be added, replaced and removed alot more.
- A Con's: You'll most likely download aprox 150-200mb every week. (Replaces the older files, of course.)
- B Pro's: More time to update stuff at our own pace, perfecting more stuff.
- B Con's: Longer time between updates. Weapons, models, animations and more will be updated at a slower pace.
- More votings might or might not be added in the future.

It would be great to have a weekly update
For voting number one, I'm not sure. I've always liked to play Modern Warfare 2 with my friends so hearing voiceovers from it kind of reminds me of the good old days. Still, don't take this as a no.
For number two, I think weekly updates are better. That will make people not spam the page for updates or say that the mod is dead.
I got a plan that'll keep the Moddb page online and up to date on updates.
