- Blood impacts and trails from enemies when they're shot from where they're shot

- Bodies can still be shot and gibbed after death

- Pain skins that reflect how damaged enemies and players are

- New weapon models with draw, holster and idle animations

- Axe now has impact sounds, view kick and can gib downed zombies after a random amount of hits

- Player footstep sounds

- Q2 remaster hitmarker sound

- Compatible with nearly any version of quake (winquake, Quake remaster, quakespasm, Darkplaces, ironwail, etc)

Hello,
I played through episode 3 of Quake using the remaster and wanted to feed back my observations:

1. Corpses sometimes block players path requiring to be gibbed to clear the way.

2. Weapon pickups seem to have 'weapons stay' multiplayer behavour (Same when tested with ChadQuake and Ironwail).

3. The auto-switch feature when picking up a new weapon still uses the Quake 1 instant weapon switch behaviour.

4. Rocket Launcher 'muzzle flash' is visible during ring of shadows powerup.

5. Weapons can still be fired during weapon draw animation, effectively ending the animation (Maybe you want to leave this as is to keep original Quake balance, I just thought I should mention it).

6. This one is personal preference: I think the small nailgun viewmodel would look better if it was moved closer towards the player, feels weird to me to see the back of the barrels so prominently.

7. Another one of personal preference: An option to turn off the hit marker sound would be cool, I also have this turned off in Quake 2. :)

8. Briefly testing with Ironwail I received two errors in console related to sound although I didn't notice anything missing in gameplay:
"Couldn't load Sound/Weapons/guncockhit.wav"
"Couldn't load Sound/Weapons/shotgn2hit.wav"

I hope this is received well. I appreciate the work you've put in already and I really like what you've done with the pain skins, and the super shotgun feels a lot more satisfying to use than the default.

I appreciate the feedback!

I've fixed a few of the problems here in the patch I put out today. The muzzle flash being visible with the ring of shadows wasn't something I thought of! I'll fix that in the next patch. I have it so the draw animation can be cancelled by firing for balance reasons like you said.
