G'day everbody,
Just a note to let you all know that closed beta testing is currently underway. I have a group of 8 individuals who will be participating in a number of 30 minute sessions. Already testing has brought to the surface a number of balancing issues and exploits which have been rectified for the next session.
A second beta testing round will commence late march, and I am asking for expressions of interest from the ModDB community. Once the second testing round is complete, Battlescape will be released as an open beta.
Please realise that In addition to playing in the beta I will be asking participants to complete a short survey regarding their experience. Also note I am located in Queensland Australia so unless you're a night owl it would be preferable for you to be somewhere near GMT+10.

Is the game functional on Linux as of now?
But, alas, I am east coast US, so time difference my prohibit me.
Any chance of adding humanoid mechs? you could get a larger fan base with those ingame. if you need help testing just let me know.
With huge explosion(s) this would be awesome.
