Hello there.
First, I have to apologize for not posting updates in a while. As you may have gathered, development has slowed down a bit, as people were forced to concentrate on Real Life instead of modding. Our Glorious Leader Darius has gotten a beautiful daughter, General Battuta decided to concentrate more on his academic and writing career, and I was caught up in RL issues as well.
But fear not, dear fans. We may be going slow, but we are going forward. We are officially able to report that most of R2 is done. While I can not give you a release date, even a tentative one, rest assured that you will get to see more of the story.
Now, there isn't really a lot of other things I can show you, but here are a few things you may be interested to see:

The SCP team continues to impress, adding new features to make the game even prettier.

Where exactly did you donate this money?
While we appreciate the sentiment behind this, and are glad that we were able to create something someone else would be willing to pay for, our stance has always been to neither solicit nor accept donations. The reason for this is that Blue Planet is quite literally built using many, many community contributions that were made available for free; giving each person who in some way contributed to making BP what it is their fair share of any money received is not only impossible, but also a source of difficulties that we'd rather not have.
We feel that if you really really want to give away money for this, then it should go toward the Hard Light Productions hosting fund. This is the best avenue for such things in our opinion, as it not only helps us by keeping the FreeSpace community alive, but also every other person who wishes to make FreeSpace-based games.
Mr. The_E: I'm somewhat disturbed by your question as to where i donated that money, but I am (hopefully) not so tech-illiterate to make such an obvious mistake. Sadly, I made the donation many months ago and can't remember where. I suspect that I may have donated the money to Hard-Light thinking it was you who would receive it (likely cause one of your friends mentioned it on a forum). If so, then great. But I would never use a credit card unless I trusted the source. Regardless, even if, it would not matter. It's the thought that counts :)
