Hey New Yorkers,
Today the communication director of NY:RP came to me to chat about some fantastic progress. But before you run out of your house, hugging every pedestrian and calling your girlfriend; we're not launching tomorrow...
IVMP has got a new developer. It is a friend of Virus, who is a current developer on the project. This new developer will most likely speed the progress of the client. Already there have been some very nice revisions that are near-stable. It is now possible to join a server with up to 10 players. Right now they're trying to get it to 20 players and higher. The crashes are very reduced and even the lag has almost disappeared.
Right now staff members of NY:RP are debugging/testing the server functions. Yesterday I was able to see the server for the first time myself, and I can tell you it's worth being patience! The debugging is progressing steadily but we need more alpha testers. Therefore I am asking all of you with a decent computer/internet connection to PM me if you're interested in some awesome alpha testing.
The alpha testing is at it's last phase, the end of the tunnel is in sight.
Sunday 30th of June at 8PM (GMT) a live stream will become available. One of the international staff members will be hosting this live stream and he will guide you through the current version of the gamemode.
Don't miss this first peek of the server! It will be an epic journey!
Well that was it I guess. Don't forget to drop me a PM if you're interested in alpha test, and highlight Sunday on your calendar.
The NY:RP International Staff.
