Korean Ridges is a project designed to show Men of War in the setting of the Korean War (obviously). The focus is on a conversion of game resources to achieve an unique visual style, similar to vintage war movies.
At the moment it is planned to show three story campaigns: the US side (1950-1951), North Korea (1951-1953) and additional episodes about specific historical events. It's not a fact that we'll stop there, but it's too early to talk about any other concepts. The emphasis in the missions is on storytelling, unique and immersive missions, so there are no extremely large-scale maps, but they are packed with detail.
In addition to single-player, multiplayer is likely to be implemented with some changes (for example, the addition of unique "doctrine" units for the factions).
Now it's worth giving answers to the main questions that have arisen both here and on other forums.
1) When is the release of the project? - In the near visible future. We can't give a date yet, but it's close. However, do not expect all the content at once - most likely, it will be added gradually.
2) Will new factions be added? - At the moment there will be two factions available in the mod: US and the Korean People's Army. Next it is planned to add some foreign forces.
3) Are there helicopters in the mod? - Yes, helicopters have been added with the SHS mod. In addition, an air strike system is available.
4) Does the mod have a voiceover for dialogues? - Yes, the mod has a voiceover, made with the help of actors and with the help of AI.
5) How historically accurate is the mod? - The mod is done authentically with respect to the timeline, but the story episodes are fictional for the most part.
