The sores are actually normal mapped. However, one unfortunate side effect of having a non-gradient lightwarp is that it destroys much of the sense of depth the normal map provides.
I honestly love the texture, but the model may need to be a bit more hi poly. The sharp edges are killing it for me unless you somehow add cell shaded outlines.
I like the idea, but the texture looks like a photo with a filter over it in photoshop. You could do a much better job hand painting it.
Yeah, it looks like a lot of the detail was lost in the photoshop filter. The concept is really great though.
There should be more sores, and they should be normal mapped to add the gory depth.Nice model, but shoulder blades seem awfully sharp.
