Well the mapping competition is nearly over, you have until next friday so you better get sending! remember to send to our email: zombie.survival@live.co.uk look on the competition news for more info.
For multiplayer we have completed quite alot since the last news as you may of seen i have added a raygun and the l96 sniper but the raygun model is a WIP for now, i also added the molotovs in replacement for the hopwire because of how buggy the hopwire will be. I started the reviving a couple of days ago and have nearly finished, only the effects to do then testing can start for it.
For singleplayer i have started adding the randombox and you may of seen ive have fully animated it and is ready, just the coding to do and i have finished the pack a punch :3 just need to add the materials for the material proxy.
For now multiplayer has two official maps (zs_Apocalypse & a new extended version of zs_Quarantine from the Singleplayer) which are close to being finished. While another map is being created for the Singleplayer - the Harbor map which has been handed over to Tingtom to wrap up and will soon have screenshots up.
Multiplayer Progress:
Main Features:
:: Level system & Small Awards ( integrated with stats and database system )
:: Laser dots on selected weapons ( with a on/off button which can be changed in keyboard options )
:: Knife upgrade ( Katana/Bowie knife/Other melee weapon )
:: Over the shoulder view (Thirdperson option w/ button for turning FPS view on fast)
:: Revive ( Heartbeat sound / fade in bleedout / hud elements for feedback )
Maps:
:: The Multiplayer version of "Quarantine" will be extended while removing the sewers, it will also have a working subway train as a survivor/npc trap.
:: A new map called "Crossfire" will be added to testing soon.
