Yadeoumod must be set after Homeworld2 so heres my idea of the story
Vaygr forces have pushed back But the vaygr attack n hiigara was all a trick and the vaygr were developing superweapons at the time but the hiigaran spys told s'jet to develop similar weapons and then when the time came the vaygr striked but they were defeated by the hiigarans and now the 2 races are in a locked conflict which lasts as long as both races live and this war was called
