Xiani's Freeplay Start mod for Shadow of Chernobyl provides a nice sandbox alternative to the critically acclaimed title. This is a repack i made of which contains a handful of vanilla friendly enhancements and maybe more will be on the way.

The biggest issue with this mod is the illogically placed anomalies. It has to be randomly generated because no one would scatter them around like this, they are everywhere. Electros and burners right right next to each other in flat fields, springboards and whirligigs every five steps and so on.
This wouldn't be so bad if the anomalies weren't made invisible. I don't know why that was messed with when the rest of the mod is basically vanilla. Either you die over and over in a minefield and load your save every few steps or repeat the "move slightly - throw a bolt - move slightly" tactic a thousand times to advance in a level, it sucks the fun right out.

okay now i copied the game data file in game directory and open file location as the readme text said but after i step into the portal and after the ending cut scene the game jumps into the main menu just like before installing the mod...tell me what's the problem...plz help ASAP... 🥺

Good mod, I have a question, how does this spawner work when I write stalker a stalker spawns with sawn off shotgun and the other factions don't spawm like i type dolg or freedom nothing spawns i think because it's in russian language idk
do you think you can remove this and add atlas spawn menu?
i dont think i can implement the atlas spawn menu flawlessly, i could try but there's a perfectly working spawner already, now i did some testing and it seems that you cant spawn anything other than loners but otherwise it works well with weapons, armor, artifacts etc.
i succesfully added atlas spawn menu i tried so many times and it worked
Is it possible to have this pure vanilla? No custom textures or weapon mods?
I uploaded a copy, do note that its an untouched version save for english text, so certain tweaks and the small mods are missing.
