I rather like the knight style. What sort of influences are you going for in terms of the Vlandians? Frankish?
Ahh ... Western Europe? From the troops you can compare them with the English, from history with the Danes and Franks, and in their administration with the Holy Roman Empire. They are riding more on horses than the Swadians, because they have not yet learned from the defeat against the Rhodoks, the cavalry has a big flaw. But you can actually compare them to Western Europe.
