This mod takes place in the Calradia of the 11th century. The empire is divided, and tribes and the first Kingdoms have formed. This mod plays 20 years before Bannerlord, a time in which the empire loses more and more power and shapes the world we know. Now, will you rebuild the empire, or will you make it disappear from the map? It's up to you...

That's it too. The Western Empire has the perfect climate for heavily armored soldiers

I feel like you might want a different form of chest armour. That helmet was also of norman origin, And most often used by Norman mercenaries under Byzantine employment. Are you planning on making the Empire have heavy use of mercenaries?

I do not want to make a 100% remake of the Byzantine Empire. rather a mixture of Byzantium and Italy. But I think your idea is good that makes the Imperium Soldner fight for itself. Millennia ago, the Vlandians were Calradic mercenaries from Georia.

Mhm, Well, I'd still suggest maybe using a different chestplate. It looks too persian imo. Maybe use some sort of lamellar rather than mirror mail?

Maybe in the future. I do not currently have the models for the Empire. And I want the Western Empire still looks a bit exotic. And this is now the "Western Heavy Armored Legionnair" the unit underneath has lamellar armor. The others wear all chain mail or cloth tunicas
