Xeres' Return is one of the biggest Gothic 2 modifications. It has a completely new story set in old worlds like the city Khorinis or Jharkendar and own worlds. The story is an alternative Gothic 2. You still control the nameless hero, buried by tons of stones in the temple of the sleeper ... The project was started 2005 by the Teutonic team, including the same members as the Clockwork team, so we decided not to create two teams with the same people here on moddb.
This mod is great and all but ...
I personally think it still needs a lot of polishing
Cuz it wasnt only 1 or 2 times i encountered a bug (quest bug or even infinite exp. :D)

Story was really great at the beggining. It felt mysterious and all , but in the end it wasnt so great at all! Especially the ending and boss fight..
Playability 6/10 As i said before this mod is still full of bugs and needs a lot of polishing.. but i know that there is still a lot of space to improve !
New content : 10/10
However this mod has a lot , really A LOT of new content which can keep you playing for hours..
That is also a reason why i like this mod!

A Proper translation is something that this mod really needs cuz you might not even understand some quest and you will soon rage out just like me.. fortunately this mod still has online english community that can help you with quests :) !

Well maybe this mod still has a long way to go (at least for me)
but its really a promising mod
and you should surely give it a chance !

It's a really great mod, I appreciate a lot of work behind it. I really love that the mod extended the original worlds, but I'll be honest: Khorata feels really unnecessary and boring. The world is just huge, but plain, simple and just agonizingly boring. I'll get to play it through some time later.
