This will be so op in fleet engagements, especially since infinity will carry about 100 fighters right? But i was wondering, will the smaller ships that can deploy from infinity be able to have fighters or would the fact that they are really compact frigates mean it wasn't added to save on space for them to fit in infinity?

Well in X3 if you manage to hapture the Aran Goner Flagship, you can store 29 hyperion M6 ships with 2 M3 Fighters per Hyperion (if you can get your hands on that many that is, i have 7 in mine that i got from paranid secotrs.), while also having an M2 destroyer parked on the capital ship dock. I bought myself a Kyoto from the Venus shipyard after completing the terran plot and docked it with my Aran. Only issue with that is that when undocking, the Kyoto's hitbox will colide with the front of the Aran and destroy both ships. you have to rotate 90 degrees to successfully undock.

Thats Awesome, never knew that, so that means its already available in game. Just hope we don't have the hit box issue with the infinity, kind suck if they all blew up when undocking or the fighters decided to undock too soon and all eneded up blowing up before the charons finish undocking.
