X3: Terran Conflict is a game with much potential, people can see that but it hasn't been exploited yet. I have learnt many things about the game while creating the mod X1: The Pirates, and know is the time to bring them 'things' into the game. My goal is to make the game look better, and have better game play. But to stay true to the x1pf name, I am bring various ships from the different x periods aswell as some custom future ships. Enjoy ....
Next patch before the next full beta version of 4.0. But this patch adds more x2 ships and weapons. I have included the argon M1 and split TL but there docking (well at least undocking) is not working.
Would new patches mess up saved games??
oh and for custom games is there a way to change to a different race??

Every save game I've tried seems to work, but I don't play the game much so I have not got very far. This is why the mod is still in beta, so I suggest backing up you save then try it. If it does work please tell me.
To get the shipyards into a savegame type this x1pf_activate as your name in game, a couple of seconds afterwards a message should come up saying its been activated. The change you name back again.
i did the 3.8 and then 3.9 update already, and then when i opened up my save game (last played from 3.7) it said file could be corrupted.
I wasnt doing much in the game yet so i started a new game.

one patch form 3.6 to 3.9 would be great!
Next version is going to be a full version, which will require you to uninstal the previous beta 3.0+ versions. At the moment i'm still working on it, and it should still be savegame compatible. But just wait for Beta 4.0.

typed in x1pf_activate for player and for ship and its not working
Try X1pf_Activate - this is what it has always been in the mod. I thought I changed it to lower case letters in Beta 3.6. But guess not.
okay, X1pf_Activate works. but wheres the shipyards??
I think I need to start creating a read me or something. The shipyards should be in the following sectors, xenon shipyard won't be in the xbtf map. But you would to friends with the xenon anyway.
Argon ships - Argon prime (1,3)
Boron ships - Power Circle (1,1) {this one needs changing as I meant to put it in kingdom end}
Xenon ships - Xenon Sector 596 (19,0)
Split ships - Rhonkar's Clouds (7,3)
would MARS work with this??
No I don't think so, it modifies TShips which I also do. I will look in to making a Mars patch for Beta 4.0
Looking at mars closer, I think it should be compatible. However the optional MARS_Repair_Drones isn't.
