This version of the mod is not save game compatible and needs a new game start. This mod includes the other x1pf mods characteristics but also improves performance by having a smaller universe as well as a smaller jobs file. The mod has new game starts for you to choose from, 1 is the xbtf style start which is meant for experienced players and there is 3 x3r style game starts.

The mod has not been tested with save games, but I would of thought it was compatible.
I would like it to be tested with save games so if you feel brave and make a copy of
your save game you can test the mod out and tell me your results.
The mod is built with the Combat Mod 3, RRF and EMP mods. Please don't install them on
top of this mod as I have built the mod around them.
Install instructions:
* Open the install program
* Install into a preferably clean x3tc directory
* Go to the x3tc directory
* Rename the 're_name me.cat' and 're_name me.dat' so that they would be the highest number cat number.
* then play!

Change name to mod to X-UNIVERSE to distinguish it more, so the mod for download will have a different name of X1: past and future total conversion version
